How do I use Ploom X?

The Ploom Auto-On feature makes using your device even more effortless. To begin a session, simply slide open the device's cover and insert a [BRAND] stick up to the line, making sure that the printed line is aligned with the top of the device. The ventilation holes should be invisible. Your Ploom X Advanced device will begin heating automatically. You can see your heating progress on the LED strip. In 25 seconds, your device will be fully heated and ready to enjoy.

If the Ploom Auto-On function is not working on your device, there could be several possible causes. 1. If the feature doesn't work directly out of the box, this could be an initial fault with the device. 2. If you insert the stick after you've slid the cover open, but before the LED battery level indicator turns off, your device may not heat automatically. 3. If you move the stick during the 25-second heating process, the device may stop heating. 4. Depending on usage over time, the Auto-On function may become disabled and no longer automatically begin heating when a stick is inserted. 

No matter the cause, if Auto-On isn't working it will not affect the performance or regular operation of your device. You can power your device on manually and start the heating process by pressing and holding the button area on the front panel of your device.

Please note that the Ploom Auto-On feature can not be disabled. To help ensure your Ploom X Advanced device can only be used by you and only when you're ready to, turn on the device's personal lock. This feature helps mitigate any risk of accidentally activating your Ploom X Advanced device while it is in your pocket or in your bag.
